I’ve been rather busy in EQ2 over the last few nights and I’ve managed lo level my Templar up to 65. As I mentioned in earlier posts, our guild is moving up to T7 where we are going to level lock and experience all of the raid content from the Kingdom of Sky, Echoes of Faydwer and the Fallen Dynasty expansions together as a level appropriate group of players.

Tipa over at the West Karana site made a comment in my last EQ2 update admiring my giant photo so I thought I’d try to replicate it with the big guys from New Tunaria. This zone is the remains of the old High Elf area of Felwithe and is designed for players in the 50-60ish level range.

After doing a bit of grinding in New Tunaria, I hooked up with some guildies to explore the entry level content in the Kingdom of Sky expansion. We ended up in Sanctum of the Scaleborn which is a 60+ level zone off of the Tenebrous Tangle. This zone is quite large and has lots of named mobs along with the early stages of the Qeynos Claymore epic quest line.

Part of our progression goal in leveling up to 70 includes completing both the Swords of Destiny quest line as well as the Qeynos Claymore quest line. These two quest lines give great rewards for players in the old T7 content and are rather epic in scale and they run through pretty much every dungeon in the Kingdom of Sky expansion. After completing a number of quests in the Claymore line, I realized I never learned the dragon language so I went to meet Lord Nagafen off of Lavastorm to start the “To speak as a dragon” quest line. This quest has me running all over Norrath to get 26 updates and it’s required before you can advance the quest line any further. Since my static group is resuming the Claymore quest line tomorrow night, I have to cut this update short as I’ve got 23/26 discoveries to make. Until next time.

I remember the to speak as a dragon quest. It was a requirement for the prismatic weapon quest and takes ages, even if you know where to look for the pieces. Furthermore you have to enter places like The Tower of the Drafling in Rivervale, which itself used to require a quest to enter. So to accomplish this in one day is no easy task. Good luck

Reading this reminds me of my late room mate. That guy was one of the smartest individuals I know, but he was a little outlandish for my tastes though. Anyways I loved reading this, thanks. Will give me something to argue about when I see him.
